XII Edition of the Fopa awards. The awards of the Federation of Public Works are intended to recognize the work and efforts of professionals and institutions by providing the province with the best infrastructure. Next Friday, the result of one of the most hotly contested editions to be known.Last year the award went to remodeling Avenue Dénia.

FJB President of the Federation of Public Works of the Province of Alicante (FOPA), Manuel Peláez Robles, has said next Friday to the jury of awards for best public works of the year to deliberate what project deserves the award of which is already the twelfth edition of the prize. This year, developers and builders have become a challenge to the crisis and are 27 to 8 more than last year-the projects competing for the award. These include the new terminal at El Altet airport, the tram station Luceros, improving the coastline south of Alicante or section of the A-7 Cocentaina-Muro de Alcoy.

The list of projects that aim to achieve, this year,  the award is made in order of presentation by the Municipal Library and vertical garden of San Vicente, football fields and stands in Torrevieja, save by the University of Alicante tram; City of La Mata (Torrevieja) Fitness highway Agost tranche Canastell industrial estate in San Vicente; Rehabilitation of municipal buildings for cultural use at San Carlos de Alicante; tranche Cocentaina-Muro de Alcoy in the a-7; Connection Orihuela round of the a-7; House Youth Novelda; Rehabilitation Orihuela Episcopal Palace; Carrús indoor pool in Elche; Remodeling garden May 1 in Elche, Casa de Cultura in Verger, Reform and Urbanization environment Rafal church;

Restoration of the Church of the Mare de Deu de Alcoy; Multipurpose Center "Cofeme Alicante" in Elda, Elche, Elche Hospital; Luceros tram station; New Terminal Area of El Altet, IES Secondary Mutxamel; Municipal Cultural Center Sant Joan; Remodeling five seats in Pego, Vía Parque N332 between Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada, Improved Etap LAigüera in Benidorm, Alicante Nord treatment plant; Private Railroad Avenue in El Campello and Improvement the south facade of the Port of Alicante and park sea.
