The Alicante Chamber of Commerce has delivered this afternoon at its annual awards recognizing the work of provincial companies during 2011 in a ceremony held at the Cultural Hall of CAM.

Seven awards have been given, along with a special mention and the imposition of the Gold and Diamond of institution Francisco Gomez, head of tourism and real estate group Marsh. XXXVIII was the most austere of the history of these awards. Due to the difficult financial situation of the entity and the current recession, the Chamber decided to remove the cocktail and the act has stuck exclusively to the award of prizes and speeches, including the president of the Chamber, Jose Enrique Garrigós and the President of the Generalitat, Alberto Fabra.

Thus, the Night of Alicantina Economy, which traditionally awards were given during a dinner, changed its schedule and was held from seven in the evening. As early as the past few years crisis, dinner had been replaced by a cocktail, which this year was decided to be cancelled. Nevertheless, in the event the representatives of academic social economic, political, and provincial and Community ceased to be absent.

This year, the award was given to Trade Gallery Selections (Elda), the Export to Foundries Balaguer (Onil), the Tourism Hotels Les Rotes (Dénia), the Industry to Laboratoires Quinton International (Cox); the Innovation Organization and Systems ALC (Alicante), the Enterprise Services Exteriores Urbana de (Alicante) and the Family Business Supplies Farrel (Alicante).  Special industry Honorable Mention was awarded to Inbani Design (Alicante).
